Admittedly, I won’t be getting pregnant for quite some time, but when that time comes, I would like to at least know my options. I have been taking Concerta for almost 10 years now and have had great success with it, however it (like most other ADD meds) is classified by the FDA as a class C medication. I’m concerned that if I stop taking my medication during pregnancy, all other aspects of my life (work, relationships, sanity lol) will fall apart. However, if I continue to take it while pregnant and then my child has birth defects, I would probably blame myself forever. Are there any safe options? Thanks!
